“Nuts and Bolts” Golf Day 18 September – Hole in One Success!
The annual South West Machinery & Business Assets client golf day took place at the Mendip Springs Golf Club on a rare sunny day.
Clients attending included players from Ernst & Young, Begbies Traynor and Lloyds TSB.
Amongst the prizes awarded were those for individual high score, highest scoring lady and longest drive.
The highlight of the day was when a client, whilst attempting to get the prize for nearest the pin on the 18th Hole, succeeding in scoring a “Hole in One”.
The winning team consisted of Jason Hall (ES), Jon Mitchell (Bishop Fleming), Simon Hicks (Begbies Traynor) and Sam Bailey (Richard J Smith).
King Sturge Triathlon - 11 July
Seven members of Edward Symmons competed. ES's placings out of 822 were:

Over £100,000 has been raised for the charties so far.

Plymouth Professionals Charity Cricket 6’s Competition - 26 June
The final was played between Edward Symmons and Bond Pearce, with Edward Symmons finally taking home the trophy!
This year's charity was for Devon Air Ambulance. A massive thank you goes to all those who took part in the event, helping to riase £700 for a most worthwhile cause.


RBS 6th Annual Regatta - 10th/11th June
The event started with a drinks reception at the Portsmouth Yacht Club followed by dinner on board HMS Warrior.
A total of 28 boats entered the competition. RBS entered 6 boats and were supported by numerous local firms such as Savills, King Sturge and ourselves. Each boat had capacity for a maximum of 8 sailors. ES's crew was skippered by Andrew Wood from our Plymouth office who was joined by other willing ES sailors and clients.
The winners were Savills with Vail Williams taking home the wooden spoon. ES finished mid table.
